Italian designer Donatella Versace opened the haute couture show in Paris on Sunday July 1st. Versace has stated that her newest collection was inspired from the artistry of tarot cards. The couture was filled with pastel colours, crystal embroidery, tight leather, chiffon and silk. The models topped off the elegance with loose, carefree curls.
The event took place at the Ritz hotel and brought in an array of stars. Lea Michele was glowing in a body-hugging orange dress, stilettos and sleek, straight hair. Her date and beau, Cory Monteith looked extremely handsome in an all black suit. Another Glee favourite, Matthew Morrison, arrived in a black suit and his date rocked a white corset, skirt and accessories to match.
The always fashionable Jessica Alba looked fierce in an all black outfit. The star donned a Versace leather dress, stilettos and clutch. Elizabeth Banks also chose a one toned outfit. Her gorgeous grey dress had studs embroidered into a horseshoe shape surrounded by a silver, metallic colour accentuating the design. Having her hair up allowed the dress to remain the center of attention. Both stylish stars wore Versace platform pumps.
