Mercedes Benz’s New York fashion week fell into full force as their extravagant 8 day event began with no other than the fabulous BCBG Max Azria spring summer 2013 show. BCBG was one of the first labels to showcase their spring 2013 collection, and obviously set out some major trends for the next upcoming spring/summer season.
Every weightless piece was artistically brought together to form an effortless feminine silhouette. With sexy peeks of sheer, lace, baroque, leather trimming and silk-cotton, each and every piece had the perfect balance of delicate romance, sophistication and rocker edge.
Clean cuts and a softer (matte) colour palette contrasted perfectly with a very rock n’ roll feel of leather harnesses and accents. The combination of the two made for a utterly dreamy and very cohesive collection.
Accessories:
To complete the look, hard-hitting leather ankle-cuffed pumps were paired with the many gorgeous designs. The 3-strapped pumps fit in magically with the whole effortlessly sexy vibe BCBG is much known for.
Of course, one of BCBG’s signature items: the envelope clutch was also present. With new designs, patterns and textures, each and every new chic clutch and handbag seemed to fit right in.
Props to designers Max and Lubov Azria as they managed to bring together yet another fabulous collection that left audiences worldwide in a dreamy awe.
