MAC Debuts “By Request Line”

If you’re a MAC addict, you’re in for a treat today! The MAC “By Request” line has finally made it’s way to the website this morning.  The “By Request” line is made up of 3 items per category (lipstick, eyeshadow, and lipglass) that were introduced as limited edition items in the past, and voted back with tens of thousands of votes from MAC fans on Facebook.

The Lipstick ($18 CAD) that lead the polls were:

1) Candy Yum Yum (with an astounding 77,157 votes) was the fastest lipstick to ever sell out in MAC history!  It debuted in the “Quite Cute” collection in April 2011.  It is described as a neon, magenta pink lipstick with a matte finish.

2) Moxie (with 74,957 votes) is described as a pinky-red with opaque coverage, and a matte-ish finish.  It debuted in the “Retro Matte Lipstick” collection in September 1999.

3) Rocker (with 72,299 votes) is described as a darkened brown-red with a subtle shimmer.  It debuted in the “Time Rocker” collection in Fall 1999.

The Eyeshadow ($18.00 CAD) that lead the polls were:

1) Guacamole (with 50,536 votes) is described as a light green with gold pearl with a frost finish.  It debuted in the “Salsabelle” collection in May 2005.

2) Jeté (with 40,245 votes) is described as a sandy coral with a pearl finish.  It debuted in the “Danse” collection in January 2006.

3) Moth Brown (with 39,563 votes) is described as a soft metallic grey/brown with a frost finish.  It debuted in the “Madame B” collection in March 2005.

The “Lipglass” ($18 CAD) that lead the polls were:

1) Bait (with 34,045 votes) is described as an iris-pink with gold pearl, and a frost finish.  It debuted in the “Lure” collection in June 2006.

2) Cult of Cherry (with 29,466 votes) is described as a clean red, with red pearl, and a frost finish. It debuted in the “Cult of Cherry” Collection in September 2008.

3) Flash of Flesh (with 27,707 votes) is described as a light nude pink, with pink pearl and a frost finish.  It debuted in the “D’Bohemia” line in May 2005.

The limited edition items are available online now! By the looks of the popularity of these products, they wont last long! Will you be purchasing any of these items? If so, which ones?
