Audrey Hepburn is one of the most famous old Hollywood actresses of all time and is still a household name. She was named one of the Greatest Film Stars of All Time by the American Film Institute and one of the Most Beautiful Women of All Time by QVC.
At a time when other famous actresses were known for their sex appeal like Marilyn Monroe or Elizabeth Taylor, Hepburn was known for her classic, modest and feminine image. She was in fact the one who popularized the LBD (little black dress) in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Hepburn was also the long-time muse for Hubert de Givenchy, who dressed her for several of her hit films. She didn’t follow fads of the time, but created her own sense of style. She liked to keep things simple and personified the mod girl of the 60’s.
The fact that she is still one of the best role models and fashion icons for women today proves that she is an enduring iconic woman.
