2012 CMA’s – Embellished Gowns on the Red Carpet

The finest in country music attended the 2012 Country Music Awards on Thursday in Nashville, Tenn. Celebs swarmed the red carpet looking radiant in satin and embellished gowns.

Carrie Underwood arrived looking glamorous as usual. The American Idol alum wore a stunning white Reem Acra gown with detailed embellishments and a plunging neckline. The co-host of the night added more sparkle to her look with gold accessories.

Taylor Swift attended the event in a beautiful a nude Jenny Packham chiffon gown with red beaded embellishments. With her hair in loose waves, the country singer added her signature red lip for extra elegance.

Lucy Hale traded in her Pretty Little Liars wardrobe for a classy white and black Moschino dress for the event. The dress looked like a piece of art with the black beaded bodice. The young actress kept the rest of her look classy with side-swept curls, black accessories, red lips and matching nails.

Jana Kramer looked gorgeous on the red carpet in an Anthony Franco Couture piece. The gown included a satin top, low v-neckline and a beaded skirt with a short train. The One Tree Hill alum paired the dress with a single black bracelet and loose waves.

Kellie Pickler also chose an embellished gown. The light blue design looked amazing on the country singer. Delicate Tacori jewelry added the perfect touch to her look.

Shawn Johnson took a night off from dance rehearsals to celebrate the 46th CMA’s. The Dancing With the Stars competitor paired her chic updo with a rich blue creation by Amanda Wakeley.


Miranda Lambert walked the red carpet in a Maria Lucia Hohan gown along with gold and green Sutra additions. The country singer won Female Vocalist of the Year at the award ceremony.

Another former American Idol contestant was also in attendance. Lauren Alaina opted for a bright red flowing gown with an incredible beaded neckline. Chandelier earrings, a cute updo and red lips completed her look.
