The Vampire Diaries
Based on the book series of the same name, it’s hard not to see parallels between this Vampire love story and that of the big screen version. However, the story here features incredibly complex twists and turns, excessive violence, vampire sex, witches, werewolves, doppelgangers, and hybrids. Elena was a human for the first three seasons, torn between her love of both Salvatore brothers: Stefan and Damon. The fourth season, currently airing Thursdays on The CW, features a change of pace. Elena is now a vampire! All of the characters deal with the constant threat of death, many main characters have perished on this show, and now that they have the baddest vampire (Klaus) on their side we can’t wait to see what new kinds of trouble they get into.
