Shia LaBeouf seems to be heading in a downward spiral.
According to ANDPOP, the actor was arrested while attending the Broadway musical ‘Cabaret’ on June 26th for raucous behaviour. He was later charged with criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct after smoking in the theatre and being disruptive during the first act. Law enforcement officials handcuffed the 28-year-old actor during intermission and led him out of the theatre.
According to Page Six, Shia later told cops at the station, “I’ll f— you up,” adding, “I have millions and millions of dollars and attorneys. I’m going to ruin your career.”
Has Shia become the male equivalent of Amanda Bynes?
The actor’s 2008 Holes co-star Siobhan Fallen Hogan believes his reckless actions have been spurred on by his inability to deal with fame from such a young age. Siobhan, who played Shia’s mother in the movie, told the New York Post, ‘‘I think there’s a ton of pressure when you’re in the acting business. It’s hard growing up acting — being a child actor. There’s pressure to act the right way. And there’s so much attention from the press that, if you make one wrong move, it’s under a microscope. I can see that being hard for him.”
Hopefully, Shia can pull it together. I’d love to see him on the big screen again.
