It didn’t take long for details of Matthew and Camila’s wedding to surface, in fact it only took a day! Info revealed included what they wore, what food they served, and how the beautiful sunset ceremony on Saturday June 9th was different from any other weddings.
According to People Magazine, the groom looked fantastic in a three-piece black Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo, and the stunning bride wore a gown that was hand-made by her favorite Brazilian designer. She polished the outfit off with a pair of white Stuart Weitzman heels.
A guest commented –
“Matthew looked so handsome, like an Old Hollywood movie star, and Camila was just glowing and beautiful!”
The three-day event was affectionately described as the perfect combination of “island beach meets Texas” by guests who arrived Friday night to a pre-wedding slumber party. They relaxed in hammocks, sipped beer and fancy vacation-like drinks, and played fun and child-like lawn games such as beanbag and ring toss. They than slept in luxury tents that were set up across the property.
According to another guest, there were no groomsmen or bridesmaids, and there were two preaches and a monk. For the vows, the A-list couple kept things private and whispered into each other’s ears so that no one attending the ceremony could hear what was said.
Matthew and Camila tarted dating in 2007. She gave birth to their son Levi Alves McConaughey in July of 2008 and their daughter Vida Alves McConaughey in January 2010. They were engaged on Christmas Day, 2001.
Clearly a very real couple, which is so hard to come by in Hollywood.
We wish them all the best!
