Lauren Conrad, 25, has not been in the news much since she left her hit show The Hills in 2008. Even when she was a staple on all of the Hollywood blogs, she was never a part of anything scandalous, expect in situations where she was the victim to someone else’s dastardly deeds. Even when dishing on a past relationship, Lauren knows how to keep it classy.
Dating off and on since 2008, she and actor Kyle Howard officially called it quits in June of 2011. During their relationship the couple remained tight-lipped on any details regarding their coupledom, and since the split they have both been basically mute.
Now, in a blog post, Lauren finally addresses the break-up—albeit in a round-a-bout way. Answering a fan’s question on what to do as a 25 year old newly single gal who’s friends are all getting engaged around her. Lauren’s response was made extremely personal when she responded…
“I was in a similar place last year. Twenty-five, newly single and helping one of my best friends plan her wedding, so I know how it can feel. It can be hard to feel like you have to start from scratch when you have invested so much time with a person, but shortly after my break up I realized something: I wasn’t losing the chance to have love—I was getting the opportunity to do it all over again.”
Even after the break up, Lauren stays incredibly positive. Now dating a USC law student William Tell, 32, she’s obviously had no problem moving on. Besides, this isn’t her first high-profile break up, her famous exes include Brody Jenner, Jason Wahler, and Stephen Colletti.
For now let’s try and remember a simpler time circa 2004…
