Kristen Stewart Graces the Cover of Vanity Fair
Wow! Kristen Stewart rocks some amazing outfits in the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair.
She is sporting the couture dresses! Definitely outside her usual comfort zone of Converse All Stars.
“The clothes are stunning! I felt so completely in the clothes, I felt like I knew them. If you don’t have like a connection to what your wearing you sort of look like a little bit like it’s wearing you, I never got that feeling on this”
Her interview includes the obvious topic of the Twilight franchise and her co-star Robert Pattinson, while only touching on her highly anticipated film On the Road. Kristen Stewart also talks about how she wasn’t a girly girl growing up.
But we all knew that already didn’t we?
“I hated school so much. Look at a picture of me before I was 15. I am a boy. I wore my brother’s clothes, dude! Not like I cared that much, but I remember being made fun of, because I wasn’t wearing (designer) Juicy (Couture) jeans. I didn’t even think about it. I wore my gym clothes. But it’s not like I didn’t care that they made fun of me. It really bothered me.”
“I remember this girl in sixth grade looked at me in gym and was like, ‘Oh my god! That’s disgusting – you don’t shave your legs!’”
The clothing is fabulous and I love the ethereal look the photographs all have (it distracts from the minimal expressions Stewart gives us). My favourite has to be the big blue gown that looks as if it were inspired by the fashion of Versailles. The whole shoot itself kind of reminds me of the Year of a Million Dreams campaign Annie Leibowitz did a couple of years back.
All of this can be found in the July 2012 issue of Vanity Fair.
