Justin Bieber Surrenders to Toronto Police

Not only has Justin Bieber been in legal trouble in Miami, but also in his home country Canada too.

The pop singer has been charged with assault by Toronto police in connection with an incident involving a limo driver late December.

Amongst a media storm and dozens of fans,  the Biebs turned himself in to Toronto Police 52 Division last night. Justin arrived in a black SUV and was escorted by police officers and a bodyguard into the station.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred between a limo driver and a passenger during the early morning hours of December 30, according to police. After picking up a group of six people at a downtown Toronto nightclub, the driver claims he was struck in the head several times while enroute to a hotel. The driver pulled over, left his vehicle and waited for police. The police claim the suspect left the scene before officers arrived.

According to CBC News, police sources have said that the pop star would be officially charged at the 52 Division and would be required to appear at a later date.
It was just last week that Justin was arrested in Miami and was charged for DUI, resisting arrest and driving with an expired license. He was released with bail set at $2,500.
