Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper have both signed on to work together for David O. Russell’s untitled film, previously known as American Bullsh-t.
The movie takes place during the 1970s FBI sting operation Abscam, which was set up by a con artist and led to a United States senator and five members of the House of Representatives being convicted of criminal charges.
This will be the third time the Oscar nominated co-stars will work together. They previously stared in the smash hit Silver Linings Playbook and Serena, which is set to be released this September.
Jennifer Lawrence will play the wife of Christian Bale’s character and while there’s no word on Bradley’s role yet, Jeremy Renner, Amy Adams and Louis CK will all be involved.
In the meantime, the stars are preparing for the Oscars. Jennifer has already won awards including the Golden Globe for Best Actress and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress.
She said: “It’s very important to separate work from your personal life. If you don’t separate it then it blends into your personal life. For my career – yes I hope, knock on wood – that I win but I don’t have a personal interest in it. I am not going to cry myself to sleep if it doesn’t happen. I’m still going to be happy, I’m still going to be me, I’m still going to have my friends and I will be fine.”
