Teen Mom 2 Star Jenelle Evans was arrested on Tuesday for possession of heroin and assault.
According to TMZ, police discovered 12 bindles of heroin in Jenelle’s possession, when they arrived to her home following an alleged domestic dispute with her husband Courtland Rogers.
The reality star was also found to be illegally in possession of Percocet (a prescription painkiller) as well as plastic wrapping paper and a glass smoking pipe, which is considered illegal drug paraphernalia.
Jenelle is also charged with assault for striking Courtland with a piece of furniture during a domestic dispute.
Police arrested Courtland too because they say he assaulted Jenelle by “hitting her on the neck and striking her with a closed fist on her head.”
Jenelle has denied she was in possession of the heroin and had no idea they were in the house, according to TMZ.
Jenelle’s lawyer, Dustin Sullivan also told TMZ , “they’re going to fight it and beat the rap.”
At the time of her arrest, the 21-year-old mom was also served with a warrant for failing to pay child support.
Tragically, Jenelle has a history of legal problems — she tested positive for marijuana and opiates while on probation and she was also involved a girl-on-girl brawl in 2011.
