There ain’t no party like an S Club party!
S Club 7 announced this morning that they will be going on a 11 day UK arena tour, just after their reunion at Friday night’s (Nov.14) Children In Need BBC special.
The tour will start in Birmingham next year on May 7, with the possibility of new material as well.
Apparently, the pop band had been discussing a reunion tour for almost two years now.
“I contacted everyone two years ago and we all came back to my place and had Chinese food,” said Tina Barrett in interview with MailOnline.
Bradley McIntosh joked, “They say the way to a man’s heart is food but it’s also the way to get a band back together again as well.”
According to The Mirror, the British pop band members have all stayed friends since the group split in 2003.
“We have stayed in touch and we have supported each other in our individual projects like theatre productions,” said Hannah Spearritt. “We’re not in each other’s pockets every day, but it’s so easy being with each other, it just feels so normal. It doesn’t feel like we’ve been away for 12 years.”
There will be some changes this time round. Rachel Stevens and Jo O’Mera are now mums and the band certainly won’t be living together like they did back in the late 1990s.
“It’s not going to be the same as back in the day when we were together for 24 hours a day,” Jon explained.”Now we’re just coming in to work and going home to our families and that’s it. The last time round we were living together for six years. It’s not going to be that intense.”
We are glad S Club is bringing it all back!
