Carrie Underwood is making her way in the fashion world.
The country songstress announced today the launch of her fitness lifestyle line, Calia by Carrie Underwood, available exlusively at Dick’s Sporting Goods beginning March 5.
“The inspiration for this line came from my desire to have clothes that seamlessly take me from workouts, to errands, to rehearsals and beyond,” Carrie said via press release. “As someone who is passionate about health and fitness, I’m excited to offer women a wardrobe that will move with them and encourage them to stay the path of leading an active lifestyle.”
Carrie will be joining the ranks of other country stars who have their own clothing line such as Brad Paisley who partnered with Boot Barn this month to release a line of clothes called Moonshine Spirit, featuring jeans, boots, cowboy hats and T-shirts for young men.
The ‘Before he cheats’ singer’s fitness line will feature capris and pants that will average $60 to $85 and tops that average $30 to $35 and can be easily mixed and matched.
“Everything pretty much matches each other, which is something that I think is really cool because if you don’t have a lot of money to spend on things like this, it all needs to look good together,” said Carrie.
Carrie maintains her focus was outfitting today’s busy woman, who is juggling her career, her family and friends and her active lifestyle.
“That’s who we make music for, that’s who we sell our records to. I don’t think it makes sense to put out things that they couldn’t go out and get.”
