Britney Spears is returning as a judge on America’s The X Factor for another season.
The Baby One More Time hit maker reportedly signed a $15 million deal to become a mentor on the show earlier this year and is midway through her first series.
Speaking to reporters at an “X Factor” event on Monday night, the singer revealed that she is on board to mentor for another season.
“Yes, I definitely will. It’s a lot of fun,” said Britney. “It’s different from anything I’ve ever done before, but it’s a lot of fun. We get to sit back and get to be entertained and it’s just wonderful. It’s really cool.”
But, before she can even think about next season, the pop princess still has to get through this one. A few weeks ago, the show kicked off its live shows and Britney had to say goodbye to her first contestant, Diamond White. However, Britney instead focused on the happier parts of her job, opening up about what it’s like to mentor the Teens group.
“They’re like my little children and they’re so young,” she said. “And it’s just like when you see them do so well, my heart is like out there for them and it’s a really hard decision. It’s a really hard thing to do.”
