True Blood stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer welcome two new additions to the family. The twins are Anna’s first children and Stephen’s third and fourth — he has children Billy, 12, and Lilac, 10, from past relationships. People.com reported that the babies were born a few weeks early, but are in good health. The statement issued Tuesday didn’t specify when or where the babies were born or the sex of the children.
Stephen recently said he having two more kids in addition to his own would be “crazy,” but he was looking forward to it. “I love my kids beyond anything. They’re the best things ever, and having two more is just going to be even more crazy, but that’s cool!”
Anna claimed she was looking forward to settling down with the pair and being a parent. “I have a side that’s very nesty. And another that thinks, ‘Let’s lock up the house and go away for five months.'”
US Weekly reported that the Moyer-Paquin babies are not the first twins to join the True Blood family. Sam Trammell and girlfriend Missy Yager welcomed twins Winston and Gus in August 2011.
Anna and Stephen were married in 2010 after falling in love on set. The show is in its fifth season on HBO.
