Beautiful Beauty on a Budget

Feeling beautiful is a very important aspect of our lives. Especially when we constantly have all eyes on our favourite Hollywood celebrities.  The difference between us and them? For the most part, they’re millionaires. Us? Not so much. Here are 5 tips and tricks of how to stay beautiful without upsetting your wallet.

1) Drink Lots of Water

Water is the definition of liquid beauty. Drinking 6-8 glasses a day can help you shed pounds, detoxify your body, hydrate, and help with a multitude of skin imperfections. Put down that pop can and pick up a glass of water!

2) Baby Wipes as Makeup Remover

Instead of paying upwards of $15 for one pack of makeup remover wipes, consider the fact that you can purchase up to 5 cases of baby wipes with that same $15.  If it’s soft enough for a baby’s skin, it’s definitely soft enough for your face.  Stop supporting makeup companies trying to sell you overpriced cleansing cloths!

3) Eye drops as a Blemish Remover

Did you know eye drops can be used for decreasing the redness or swelling of an unwanted blemish? Few people do! Why not double the use of your eye drops and apply it to your face when one of those unwanted guests show up on your face? Also, if you have some Aspirin lying around, crush up a half a tablet and apply it to the blemish and watch the redness disappear before your eyes.

4) Use Brown Sugar & Honey to Exfoliate Your Skin

Skip the expensive, over-priced scrubs! Most of then contain ingredients that harm your skin in the long-term, anyway. March to the kitchen and mix brown sugar and money together until your desired consistency. Buff your skin naturally!

5) Buy Your Favorite Products in Bulk

Got a favorite Shampoo, Conditioner, or other product that you will forever be loyal to? Great! Rather than buying small travel-sized or regular sized bottles, buy the huge family-sized bottles. It’s a win-win. You get more bang for your buck and will rarely ever run out of your favorite products!

And there you have it.  There’s nothing like a financially stable, gorgeous woman! What are some of your Beauty on a Budget secrets?
