Now that it has officially frozen over and we are all huddled shivering in the library, there is only one thought getting us through exams, Spring Break! With the everlasting winter, projects, exams, and work piling high, a vacation is just what you need.

Thoughts of palm trees and Pina Coladas make you salivate, but let’s make sure you are going somewhere worth you while. Check out our list of the most lively vacation destinations below.

Punta Cana

If you are looking for a great all-inclusive option, Punta Cana has amazing resorts! By far one of the most popular Spring Break locations and for good reason. With sandy white beaches and the temperature around 26 degrees Celsius throughout March, what’s not to love? Although it is one of the more expensive destinations, due to its popularity, it is definitely worth your while. Since Punta Cana is all the rage it is not necessary to go with a large group, you are most likely going to meet fun travelers on the first night.

Cancun

Can you say party central? Cancun is known for its let loose mentality and anything goes attitude. If you are looking for 24/7 entertainment this is a great option. If you are considering going to Cancun you should look into traveling with an affiliated group. It is recommended to stay in accommodations 4 stars and above as well, as you don’t want to get sick from the cuisine. Cancun has great excursions and being on an organized trip makes it much safer to go off the resort. Why not have a hassle free vacation, it’s Spring Break, your time to relax and party.

Puerto Plata

Another Dominican option, Puerto Plata has some of the great features Punta Cana has but just at a lower price. Puerto Plata has a similar party scene and the city itself is more traditional. If you are looking for a trip with a mix of culture and partying this is the place! The weather remains in the mid 20’s during the spring season so let’s hit the beach! The excursions offered at most resorts include catamaran cruises and zip lining, however, Puerto Plata is known for its amazing Monkey Jungle, make sure not to miss out on the cute creatures!

Daytona Beach, Florida

If you are looking to stay in the U.S., Daytona is the place to be. Not only is it much more affordable than traveling to Central America, Daytona Beach offers a similar Caribbean style. With a very active party scene, Daytona has beautiful beaches and shady palm trees to set the mood. It’s looking to be a beautiful sunny Spring Break season this year, all you need to pack is some sunscreen and a bathing suit! Daytona is usually a bit of an older crowd as the drinking age is 21+.

Mont Tremblant, Quebec

Loving the winter weather and want to hit the slopes? Mont Tremblant is a beautiful snowy option. This is a great destination to go with a group of friends, rent a chalet and make your own schedule. In the comfort of your own lodge, you are able to cook and party as you please. You can find great deals on ski/snowboard rentals and lift passes online. There is a village close to the slopes where there is a variety of pubs, bars, and clubs to choose from. Don’t miss out on this all around exciting destination.
