I absolutely fell in love with the Wild Side Angora Knit Top I bought from Mexy Shop and I just had to share this great find with you all! Perfect for fall, I felt f.a.b.u.l.o.u.s. wearing it for the back to school season.
When I first laid my eyes on this sweater, what enticed me to purchase it was the bright color. It’s a shade of green that isn’t often seen during your weekly (or daily) trip to the mall. What I especially loved was that the captivating shade helped carry over some summer spirit into the gloomy fall season.
The sweater is 65% acrylic and 35% wool, making for a killer combo: a cashmere feel at a cheap price. It is super soft on my skin, without the itch you would expect from a sweater made with wool. If you are looking for a sweater for those mild days, this one is a great choice. It is not too heavy, not too light, but just right for autumn. For those windier days you can throw on this stone washed Totally Denim Jacket, also from Mexy Shop (you can see me wearing it in the photo above).

The only downside to the sweater was that it’s only sold in one size, and if you are a little shorter than me or around the same height (5 foot 1) then this sweater may act more as a dress. I would of preferred something smaller, but the over-sized look is still cute. The sweater does have an elastic at the bottom which helps keep it from sagging mid-thigh, but it still slides down occasionally and I found myself constantly fixing it.
The design on the sweater incorporates the animal trend print going on right now very well. There is great fine detail outlining the tiger’s face with sequins, and if I haven’t already mentioned this before, I love sparkly things! I had no idea when I ordered the sweater online that it came with sequins and it was definitely a pleasant surprise! I have worn the sweater a few times already and so far there have been no loose threads on the sequins and everything has been kept in place.

I matched the green sweater with a pair of leggings from American Apparel and Steve Madden studded cow-boy booties. For such a casual look not many accessories were needed, and I wore my hair down in their natural curls.
This top is only $32.12, which is a lot cheaper than my usual sweaters. Considering the feel of this sweater, the color, and the detail, this is a great find for an even better price. I highly recommend you to check out Mexy Shop, they have some great clothes and a lot of different styles too, guaranteeing that almost anyone can find something that appeals to them, without breaking your bank!
